Vote for the NOVA MVP of April & May
PAOK played five consecutive derbies in April and May in the Play Offs, claimed three big wins, secured third place in the table and a place in the UEFA Europa League. But which player stood out the most? Time to cast your votes.
The first candidate for the NOVA MVP award for April & May is Giannis Konstantelias . The Greek midfielder made a decisive contribution in two matches. He scored the goal that paved the way for the victory in the derby against Olympiacos at the Toumba Stadium, while he also found the net in the away game against Panathinaikos. Showing creativity, with impressive through balls, movement between the lines and decisivie actions in the final third, he was a constant threat to opponents.
The second candidate is Giannis Michailides. The left-footed central defender stepped up in the most crucial period of the season. He scored with a tremendous shot against Panathinaikos at the Toumba and provided the winning goal against AEK with another amazing finish. At the same time, at the back he demonstrated good positional sense, dynamic interventions and a decisive contribution to preserving the result when the pressure was on.
The trio of candidates is completed by Mady Kamara. The Guinean international midfielder was also impressive. He scored against Olympiacos at the Toumba to make it 2-0, while in the 2-1 win over Panathinaikos he scored the winning goal, after an assist from Taison. With tactical awareness, solid decision making and bags on energy in the midfield areas, he provided valuable solutions in both defense and attack.
