Recuperation and preparation
On the days following a match, PAOK are always split in two. Those with more than 45 minutes on the pitch go to “Makedonia Palace” for a special recuperation session, while the rest train in Nea Mesimvria.
Those who didn’t play against Panetolikos trained in Nea Mesimvria on Monday morning, the menu consisting of ball passing drills, games in reduced space, speed and strength exercises and tactical practice. Stelios Kitsiou returned to trainings and followed most part of the main session.
Those who started the Sunday game did recuperation work on Monday with stationary bike, swimming pool, cryotherapy and massage. Tuesday’s training session will start at 19:00 in Toumba Stadium.
