Recent rains and the final of Makedonia Clubs’ Union have rendered the pitch of Toumba Stadium heavy but nonetheless PAOK players held their training session there on Friday. After their usual warm-up routine and the “5-2”… ritual, they worked on their tactics, Angelos Anastasiadis pointing out what he expects of them on the pitch.
As usual, PAOK coach didn’t rehearse with his starting line-up, but preferred to focus on the team’s tactical approach both in attack and defence.
Αlexandros Tziolis and Dimitris Papadopoulos took part in the training match. The only names still featuring in the absentees’ list are those of Fanis Tzandaris (recuperation program) and Hedwiges Maduro (physiotherapy).
PAOK players will meet again on the pitch on Saturday morning for their stretching session and then they will head to the hotel to rest ahead of their game.
