Games in reduced space and finishing
There are two training sessions left before PAOK players and coaching staff travel to the Netherlands for their main preseason stage. Actually, on Friday they will hold one session and an informal training match.
On Thursday, the “Double-Headed Eagle” players worked in the evening, with the first part of their session focusing on physical condition and muscular strengthening (especially in the legs).
Afterwards, the players split into two groups. The first played a game of pressure in reduced space and the second worked on their passing game and finishing. The internationals went through their ergometrics tests.
Željko Brkić didn’t train because of back pains, while José Alberto Cañas remained in the gym to nurse his leg after the knock he sustained on Wednesday.
Aleksandar Stanojević has a session planned at 9:00 on Friday and, later in the day, a training match of 60 minutes, split in three 20-minute parts.
