Season debut for PAOK in Toumba
One month after preseason started, PAOK are facing Apollon Limassol on Thursday, in their first home friendly encounter of the season.
Vladan Ivić will get the opportunity to test his troops’ level of readiness, less than a week before the first leg encounter against AFC Ajax. On Wednesday evening, the coach of PAOK worked on tactics and ball passing.
Ergys Kace joined his teammates after his summer leave and did reintegration work on his own. The remaining players worked out normally. After the session, Ivić announced the 23 players who will meet at 13:45 on Thursday in Makedonia Palace Hotel. They are: Brkić, Glykos, Leovac, Giannoulis, Kitsiou, Matos, Tzavellas, Pougouras, Malezas, Crespo, Tziolis, Shakhov, Charisis, Cimirot, Biseswar, Pelkas, Cañas, Jairo, Campos, Rodrigues, Athanasiadis, Pereyra, Koulouris.
Those who won’t play in the friendly encounter against Apollon Limassol, will train at 17:45 in Toumba Stadium.
