Simeon Papadopoulos was born on April 18, 2000 in Thessaloniki, and began his football education at a young age in PAOK;s youth system. He moved to Iraklis, but then returned to PAOK in 2017.
At Iraklis he spent one full season with the Under-17 squad, getting plenty of paying time and was a member of the mixed teams involved in the Macedonia Football Clubs Association (MFCA, and was of course a Greek youth international.
Since returning to PAOK in 2017, he has represented the club the Super League Under-20 category, playing 22 times. This was followed by another great season (2018-19) playing for the Under-19 side, as well as being involved in the impressive run in the UEFA Youth League. He was also involved in the first team pre-season training in the summer of 2019.
He is a goalkeeper with impressive physical attributes, and a player with lots of potential for development.
