PAOK players sounded satisfied after the final whistle of their Borisov game, but they keep their feet on the ground.

Giannis Skondras paused in the mixed zone to offer his version of the game:

“These three points are very important. After our matches against ACF Fiorentina, we had but one aim: two victories in the remaining matches. Today we made the first step. We came here determined to win. In the first half we were not good and committed many errors. Eventually however we found our way and won the match”.

Răzvan Raț, one of the side’s most experienced players, was quick to dismiss any premature talk about the upcoming European challenge:

“First of all, we have to really focus on our league matches, and then we’ll see about EA Guingamp. On Sunday we play against a rival who might be considered theoretically inferior but could prove very complicated. We still have a fortnight to go until the European match”.
