Football under the winter sun

After Friday’s recuperation work, PAOK began their intense preparation for Monday’s game against Levadiakos. What did Glykos’ MRI reveal.

12.12.2015

Saturday’s training session was of small duration but intense and consisted of tactical drills, ball passing games in reduced space and under pressure. Charis Charisis trained normally for a second consecutive day and he will be available to Igor Tudor shortly.

Miguel Vítor will also return to action in a few days and he is training alongside his teammates, at a lighter pace though due to a problem in the sciatic nerve. Alexandros Tziolis and Giorgos Tzavellas continued a special decompression work to deal with fatigue and be fit for the Levadiakos game.

Eyal Golasa, Stelios Kitsiou and Ricardo Costa continued their recovery work.

As for Panagiotis Glykos, he did an MRI that confirmed a 2nd-degree strain in the right hamstring. He is expected to remain on the sidelines for 5-6 weeks.
