Squad announced for AEK Athens match

There are two ways to look at the encounter against AEK Athens. First, that it seals a demanding week. Or, second, that it is the starting point of an even tougher streak of games with different characteristics and a common aim: to win.

29.10.2016

PAOK have put behind them the encounters against Qarabağ FK and Olympiacos. They are now faced with new, must-win challenges. First up, AEK Athens, the first big clash of the season in Toumba Stadium.

Vladan Ivić, who focused on tactics for a second consecutive season, cannot count on Giorgos Tzavellas. The international Greek defender trained normally, but hasn’t yet been cleared to play. Dimitris Pelkas and Tzavellas are the only absences of the “Double-Headed Eagle” for the match against AEK Athens.

Afterwards, PAOK coach announced his 19-man list for Sunday’s encounter: Glykos, Brkić, Matos, Kitsiou, Crespo, Varela, Malezas, Leovac, Cañas, Cimirot, Charisis, Shakhov, Biseswar, Mystakidis, Thiam, Campos, Rodrigues, Pereyra, Athanasiadis.
