Lessons in tactics
Not all of those on international duty have returned yet, but the clock is ticking ahead of Sunday’s (20.10) match against Lamia on Matchday 7 of the Super League. Preparation for the upcoming match began in earnest on Tuesday morning (15.10) at Nea Mesimvria.
PAOK’s players and coaching staff got down to business today with the focus firmly on tactics. After some rudimentary warm-up and some tactical games, Abel Ferreira then turned things up a notch with some more detailed exercises focused on tactics. The session was completed with a friendly match.
Pontus Wernbloom was the only player among the group to train individually, while Fernando Varela is expected to return to Nea Mesinvria on Wednesday (16.10) to start his recovery program after having knee surgery.
On Wednesday (16.10), PAOK will train at 10:30 at the club’s training center.
