The second leg of the Greek Cup semi-final clash with Olympiacos belongs to that category of matches that you don’t simply play. You win. Because that is the only way you can achieve your goal, which for PAOK is to win the Greek Cup trophy for a fourth successive season.
Abel Ferreira has been making his preparations amid a plethora of injury problems. They are problems that he has stressed on more than one occasion, but he also sees them as a challenge to the Dikefalos tou Vorra’s character and mettle. Among the injury concerns are Andre Vieirinha and Dimitris Pelkas , both of whom completed only part of Tuesday’s training session as a precaution.
Out of contention is of course Josip Misic, who paid his teammates a visit during their final training session before the big match to wish them good luck.
In contrast, Jose Crespo – even though he is still some way from a return to action- will travel with the squad for the trip to Athens to cheer on his teammates.
