On whether Murg’s goal was the best kind of ‘medicine’ for PAOK:

«Definitely yes. There was nothing better that could give the team such a psychological lift. Now we have another difficult game ahead and all of our focus must fall on that.»

On the key takeaways for PAOK from the two matches in Athens:

«It was a difficult game. We have to keep a clean sheet and we know that we will create opportunities. We did not succeed against Panathinaikos, but we did it against AEK. Our performance was vindicated with the goal at the end, and we will continue in this way for the next game.»

On the game with Asteras Tripolis:

«I expect it to be a similar game to the match we played at their ground in the regular season. It will be difficult, there will be many tough battles for the second ball all over the pitch, and one-on-one duels that need to be won. We need to make sure we are first to win these if we want to get the result we want.»

On what elements PAOK need to be wary of:

«We need to be mindful of their crosses, as they have good players up front. So we need to make sure we defend those well. We have our plan, and we have to follow it, we have to score goals, and we will get the victory.»

Whether the game with Asteras is crucial for the standings:

«Yes, very much so in terms of points. We want to win all the games; there is no game that we do not want to take three points from. And so for this match it is the same, our goal is to get the win.»
