Tactics dress rehearsal ahead of PSV
The rain stopped as the work in Holland started, with the PAOK players steadily increasing their rhythmn in training and upping the intensity as the club continues the process of creating the new-look team.
Tuesday (13.07) afternoon’s training was entirely dedicated to tactics. On one practice pitch, Razvan Lucescu explained to his players how we wanted them to move and position themselves depending on the various situations they were called upon to deal with, while over on the second pitch, a group of players practiced dealing with and exploiting set pieces.
Andre Vieirinha continued his light training program in the gym, and on Wednesday (14.07) he is expected to return to full training. Ingason and Douglas Augusto remained at the hotel for treatment and rehab.
On Wednesday (14.07) PAOK face PSV Eindhoven in what is one of the Dutch club’s final friendly tests before their Champions League qualifiers. The match will take place at the Philips Stadion in front of a crowd and will be broadcast via PAOK TV at 21:00.
