The goalkeeper, born in 2002, has been at PAOK since 2011, that is, since he was nine years old. At that time, he would come and go daily from Kilkis (he started at Alexandros Kilkis at the age of five) for training and at the age of 14 he decided to live in the Academy House accomondation.

During his time he has won international tournaments, domestic championships (one with the Under-15s, three with the Under-19s), and in 2020 he began training with the senior men’s squad. He is one of the main «goalkeepers» for PAOK B in the fours years since the team has been established. In the summer of 2021, he experienced his first training with the senior first team.

The 2023-24 season was a special experience for Balomenos, as he was a member of the PAOK first team in a season full of high tension, tough demands and, in the end, vindication. The young goalkeeper was there working hard every day consistently, and had the opportunity to experience firsthand the conquest of the 2023-24 Stoiximan Super League championship. An experience that has helped him to mature and prepare for the next step.
