«I will remember the goal at the Toumba for the rest of my life», said the scorer of the Under-17’s only goal after the final whistle as PAOK defeated Panathinaikos 1-0 and lifted the Super League trophy.

PAOK’s Under-17s celebrated their league title win at the Toumba Stadium in style, which they had already mathematically clinhed three matches before the end of the season. A back-to-back championship, the first Panhellenic, and the sixth overall for PAOK in this age category. The Double-headed Eagle youngsters won 1-0 against Panathinaikos (18th matchday) with a goal by Kyriazidis in the 51st minute, after an assist by Papadopoulos (it had been preceded in the 33rd minute by Giokas hitting the woodwork). The goalscorer was ecstatic during the award ceremony and the mini title party at the Toumba, as well as bis teammates of course, with the champions’ medals being placed around the necks by the hands of Andre Vieirinha and Dimitris Pelkas .

There is one matchday left until the championship is completed with PAOK facing Volos away on May 10.
