PAOK wrapped up preparations for the encounter against Panthrakikos with two players less. It was deemed preferable for Gojko Cimirot and Garry Rodrigues to remain in Thessaloniki.
The Bosnian midfielder complained of calf pains and will undergo extensive medical tests on Monday to assess his condition. As for Garry Rodrigues’s return to action, it gets delayed. The player felt his left hamstring sore after the intensive training and Igor Tudor decided there was no reason to run risks with him, after consulting the medical staff.
Taking these latest absences into account, PAOK coach tried out his plans for the Komotini encounter, where the team need to prove they are on the rise ahead of the play-offs. The training session held at Toumba consisted of tactical drills and set-piece practice.
