The toughest session
Their pulses were racing and they were eagerly waiting for the short brakes of water during the toughest training session so far. Vladan Ivić’s triple whistle in the end sounded like the sweetest melody for PAOK players.
PAOK players tested their limits on Saturday, with the toughest training session so far. There was high intensity and work focused on special endurance through five sections. All drills were done to the maximum for 30 seconds, 1 minute and 3 minutes.
Giorgos Tzavellas, Αlexandros Tziolis, Diego Biseswar, Garry Rodrigues, Léo Matos and José Ángel Crespo followed a special program of integration and strengthening. Dimitris Pelkas remained at home because of a viral infection, while Giannis Mystakidis trained on his own in the gym as he is recovering from a viral infection as well.
After Saturday evening’s training session in Toumba Stadium, the players will enjoy a day off until Monday 4 July, when the squad will leave for Oosterbeek, Netherlands, for the preseason’s main stage.
