Recovery work and medical report

PAOK won their game against Iraklis and are preparing now for their outing to Azerbaijan, to face domestic champions Qarabağ FK.

PAOK players split into two groups on Monday. Those who started the match against Iraklis followed a special decompression program with pool and gym drills. The rest went out on the pitch for a session focusing on ball passing and tactics with aerobic adjustments.

Stelios Malezas suffered a foot strain and will do an MRI. However, on first impression, his situation has clearly improved one day after the injury.

Marin Leovac did recovery work with physiotherapy and he is expected back to training in upcoming days.

Vladan Ivić can count again on Dimitris Giannoulis who has totally recovered and will return to full training on Tuesday. Dimitris Pelkas complained of pains in the hip bone and sat out of the last part of the session. He will undergo medical tests on Tuesday to determine his condition.

As for Giorgos Tzavellas, he continued his recovery program and came out on the pitch for the first time, to start special physical condition drills.

Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start at noon (12:00) in Nea Mesimvria.
