Squad announced for Greek Cup quarter-final
PAOK wrapped up preparations for their Greek Cup quarter-final second leg against Xanthi with a training session held in Toumba Stadium. Pedro Henrique complained of pains in the area affected by the knock he sustained against Iraklis and has been ruled out of the encounter.
PAOK have the upper hand on the tie after their 2-1 win in the first leg, but qualification is far from decided. This advantage doesn’t affect the game approach, as Vladan Ivić’s troops want to stamp their ticket to the semi-finals with fine football and victory.
Wednesday’s training focused on tactics, the coaching staff analyzing the moves they expected by the players both in attack and defence. Apart from Pedro Henrique who suffers a toe injury, José Alberto Cañas continued his reintegration training.
After the session, Ivić announced his 18-man list for Thursday’s encounter: Glykos, Siampanis, Μatos, Κitsiou, Leovac, Varela, Malezas, Shakhov, Crespo, Cimirot, Kaçe, Pelkas , Biseswar, Mystakidis, Campos, Μattheou, Prijović, Κoulouris.
