Squad announced for the Kerkyra match
PAOK wrapped up preparations for the encounter against AOK Kerkyra that seals the Super League’s regular season. The “Double-Headed Eagle” squad to host the Corfu outfit doesn’t include several regulars.
Along with suspended Fernando Varela, Yevhen Shakhov, Stefanos Athanasiadis and Marin Leovac, the name of Panagiotis Glykos has also been added on the absentees’ list. The Greek international goalkeeper suffers of calf muscle pains and it was deemed preferable to rest out of precaution.
José Ángel Crespo has also been sidelined for Sunday’s encounter, because he needed to decompress after playing in consecutive encounters despite of minor injuries. Gojko Cimirot will also rest.
The 18-players in Vladan Ivić for Sunday’s encounter are the following: Brkić, Siampanis, Deligiannidis, Μatos, Κitsiou, Chatziisaias, Malezas, Pouggouras, Cañas, Kaçe, Charisis, Biseswar, Pelkas , Campos, Warda, Henrique, Κoulouris, Prijović.
Saturday’s training session was held in Toumba Stadium and the Serbian coach focused on tactics, telling his players what he wants of them in the encounter against AOK Kerkyra.
