A 19-man squad for the Panionios match

PAOK are aiming to defeat Panionios in Toumba Stadium and edge closer to their final objective of the season, securing a place in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

20.05.2017

Panionios have won many fans this season with their overall performances. They are true to their plan, always demure on the pitch. Not only have they made it to the play-offs, but they also remain undefeated after the first two matches. They have already overtaken AEK and Panathinaikos and are aiming for top place.

All that however doesn’t affect the work that PAOK have to do. Vladan Ivić and his troops want to win and boast the necessary quality to remain in the driving seat. The last training session before the match was held in Toumba Stadium on Saturday and focused on tactics.

The Serbian coach can count on Panagiotis Glykos who got over his back pains. Pedro Henrique who had suffered a knock by Vlachodimos in the hamstring on Wednesday also trained normally. The Brazilian winger won’t feature against Panionios though, due to suspension (accumulated bookings). Yevhen Shakhov, Amr Warda, José Ángel Crespo are also sidelined through suspension and Fernando Varela, Giannis Mystakidis through injury.

The squad for the encounter against Panionios consists of: Glykos, Brkić, Leovac, Deligiannidis, Μatos, Κitsiou, Pouggouras, Μalezas, Chatziisaias, Cañas, Kaçe, Cimirot, Charisis, Biseswar, Pelkas , Campos, Prijović, Athanasiadis, Koulouris.
