The squad for the match against Panathinaikos
One last training session at the Toumba and it’s back on the road again for PAOK for yet another… final. A match to determine progress in the cup. Another big challenge. The team is ready to battle for a place in the semi-finals of the Greek Cup, at the venue where it has lifted the trophy in the past two successive seasons.
Abel Ferreira will have Fernando Varela and Dimitris Giannoulis available for selection after both players trained normally after recovering from minor knocks picked up against OFI. Dimitris Pelkas also completed the session and passed a fitness test.
The training session at the Toumba was focused on the tactical approach for the game, and work on set-pieces. After the session, the Portuguese coach announced the following 19-man squad:
