The Double-headed Eagle squad trained at Nea Mesimvria on Tuesday and the focus is solely on the upcoming 90 minutes at the Toumba. Dimitris Giannoulis has been declared fit for selection. His MRI scan showed some slight swelling in his calf but the player took part in the training session without any issues and is at the coaching team’s disposal.

In contrast, one player who will be a last-minute absentee is Douglas Augusto, who is struggling with a virus, and since he was feeling physically weak, the club have decided not to risk him.

Tuesday’s (12.01) training included work on tactics, while there was a heavy emphasis also on set-pieces. Enea Mihaj continued his rehabilitation program and muscle strengthening physiotherapy.
