On how the week went for the team:

«I think it went well. We had the cup match in the middle of it, and then we played a friendly with the Under-19s. I think we worked quite well. We’re happy with the results of both matches. In the cup, okay we had the some problems in the first half, but in general I think we are satisfied. We have to improve some things and we are preparing for the next match.»

On the aspects where the Double-headed Eagle need to improve, and if the biggest problem is the goals being conceded:

«This is whatr we have tried to work on. Of course, it’s not only the defensive line that is to blame for this. We have to work better as a team, meaning starting from the forwards. That is the goal, to work on our defensive play and improve, but also on our forward play since we have some gaps there as well. Although we do see some improvement there, as we are scoring goals. Our job is clearly not only in the defensive part and we try to cover everything.»

On the fact that the back four is constantly changing and whether this plays a role:

«This is happening, yes. I also know from my own experience [as a player] that when we had the same four players across the back, because you know each other you get better together game by game. We have already made changes in personnel here and there, not only because of mistakes, but also because we have a lot of games. This needs a little management with the players, some are tired and the squad needs a little rotation. That’s why we sometimes change players.»

On the friendly against the Under-19s and the new faces at the club:

«I think that the friendly helped us a lot, not only for the specific two new players but generally because we have several players who have had limited playing time. It was a very important friendly for us. Specifically for the two newcommers they have made a very good impression on us. They worked very well. They will be ready soon, but we cannot say exactly when. Certainly Baba is not 100% ready for 90 minutes, but he will be able to get involved gradually.»

On whether there are any injury problems, other than Enea Mihaj:

«No, we don’t have any other issues apart from Mihaj.»

On the case of Leo Jaba and the clubs plans for the player:

«He is training normally, but his case is like Baba’s. That is, he is not yet 100% ready to play games. Of course, our squad is now too big, we have too many players. And in the position he plays we have a lot of cover. The players have to fight ahard nd that’s a huge benefit for us. We always choose the best players and that’s a great news for the coaching team.»

On his thoughts in view of the match against PAS Giannia:

«I definitely think PAS’s last result was a good one for them. We saw them against AEK, and how they played with Atromitos in the cup, and also against Paniliakos. We must be cautious, as they are a well-organized team. They press high up the pitch and we must be careful. I remember the first game here at the Toumba where we had a lot of problems in the first half; it was a very difficult game, and so we need to be focused and as always, go for the victory and nothing less. Olympiacos have opened up a big gap in first place, but the rest of us in the chasing pack are all quite close together. So we definitely have to win.»

On the weather conditions and how they have affected the preparation:

«It has not really affected us so much. Only on Sunday we had a small issue with the training at the stadium. But we were still able to workd hard on what we wanted to and I think that tomorrow in Athens when we will play there won’t be any issues and we’ll see a match played under normal conditions.»
