Paschalakis’ lightning reflexes
Alexandros Paschalaki’s save in the home game against Bohemians was your choice in the vote for the nak Play of the Month for August.
The Goldkeeper showed his skills -and then some – in the home game against the Croatians. In the first half, a powerful shot from outside the area took a deflection off Vieiriniha’s outstretched leg, changed direction and headed towards the goal. But Paschalakis managed to adjust his body position quickly and produced a superb reflex save to keep the ball out.
And in the poll for the August Play of the Month, the Greece international goalkeeper received 46.6% of the vote for his save, winning the individual award. In second place was Stefan Schwab and his excellent assist in the game against Rijeka in Croatia to Omar El Kaddouri for the goal that paved the way to victory.
El Kaddouri’s assist to Biseswar in the home game against Bohemians at the Toumba completed the podium in third place.
