- This is the fourth season that the two teams are facing each other in the Play Offs. Aris has only reached this stage of the competition four times in total.
- The first time was in the 2007-08 season during which PAOK did not participate, while both teams qualified in 2009-10 with the Dikefalos tou Vorra winning 2-0 at the Toumba and Aris winning 3-2 at their home ground on May 19 2010 in a match which was the final game of the season with PAOK having already claimed first place.

- Since 1959-60, with Aris as the home side, there have been 60 matches, with PAOK winning 15 times. Aris have won 21, and there have been 24 draws.

Next, the most common scorelines are 1-1 and 1-0 to Aris, both of which have appeared on six occasions.
