Another successful friendly test
A second friendly in Cyprus ended in a second victory for PAOK, who defeated AEL Limassol 3-0 at Tsirio Stadium, completely dominating the game and playing some excellent football.
Razvan Lucescu’s team came out in determined mood, starting strongly, and after just 10 minutes they took the lead via Douglas Augusto. Sastre did the hard work down the right flank, crossing for the Brazilian and he made no mistake in making it 1-0.
The hosts tried to respond and did hit the post in the 21st minute with Berahino the unlucky player to strike the frame of Kotarski’s goal. The Double-headed Eagle then responded by making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute with Nelson Oliveira heading home from the returning Narey’s cross.
In the second half, the two coaches changed almost all of their players, causing the pace of the game to drop noticeably. PAOK kept control and possession, created some good chances, especially in the first quarter of the second half, while they also found a third goal in the 73rd minute courtesy of Diego Biseswar. The Surinam attacking midfielder got in behind the home defense thanks to a pass from Filipe Soares, he produced a wonderful lob to make it 3-0.
