Welcoming back the internationals and focusing on the goal ahead
The international players are returning this week, the “newbies” are stepping up, the clock is counting down to the league restart, and the Souble-headed Eagle squad are working hard to be ready for the tough games ahead.
Tuesday’s (12.09) program was a particularly demanding one. Training started with some fitness exercises and possession play, then Razvan Lucescu took over for some tactical exercises, both in defense and attack, and in the finale there was a four-team tournament held across two pitches.
Filipe Soares followed an individual training program as he continues to work his way back to full fitness, while Baba also worked alone. Marcos Antonio took part in part of the training session with the squad and then broke off to do some individual work, while Kirill Despodov followed a rehabilitation program, following the matches he had with the Bulgarian national team, with Andrija Zivkovic , William Troost-Ekong and Thomas Kedziora to return tomorrow from their duties with their national teams.
On Wednesday (13.09) PAOK will train at 18:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
