The left-footed central defender dramatically increased his performances in the last part of the season, scoring two crucial goals for the Double-headed Eagle in the process. With a tremendous shot against Panathinaikos and an equally impressive goal against AEK, this time with his right foot, he put his stamp on the two home victories that largely determined PAOK securing third place and the European ticket for the UEFA Europa League. In defense, he was solid, focused, with good positioning and made some decisive interventions in all the games he played.

In the vote for the NOVA MVP of April/May, it came as no surprise then that he collected an impressive 76.53% of the public votes and won the individual award.

In second place was Giannis Konstantelias with 15.27%, thanks to the goals he scored and his overall performances against Olympiacos and Panathinaikos.

Mady Kamara combined consistency and efficiency in the midfield, garnering 8.21% of the votes and taking third place.
