Recovery and squad announced for Xanthi match
PAOK players split into two groups on Friday, after their win over FC Dinamo Tbilisi. The first group did recovery work in Makedonia Palace and the second trained in Nea Mesimvria.
Those who started the Tbilisi match followed a special recovery and decompression program with gym drills, pool and stationary bike. The rest trained for 75 minutes in the club’s sports centre of Nea Mesimvria.
The session focused on tactics ahead of the Saturday friendly encounter against Xanthi and on finishing. After training, Vladan Ivić picked his squad for the trip to Xanthi. It consists of:
Brkić, Siampanis, Giannoulis, Kitsiou, Pougouras, Varela, Malezas, Cañas, Biseswar, Mystakidis, Pelkas , Jairo, Korovesis, Pereyra, Koulouris, Deligiannidis, Mattheou, Kyrillidis.
The squad will leave at 11:30 on bus for Xanthi and the match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00, but will not be broadcast live. The players not included in the squad have the day off.
