PAOK U20s played a great match on the first day of the “Lev Yashin” tournament of Moscow. Vladan Ivić’s pupils proved a tough nut to crack and lost 3-2 conceding a goal to Dynamo Moscow in the dying seconds of the game. It should be noted that the Russian side used players 2-3 years older than their PAOK counterparts.
PAOK took the lead thanks to an individual effort by Tsolakidis. Dynamo needed two penalties to equalize, as Soilemezoglou saved one of the spot kicks. The Russians then put a foot forward, but Dimitriadis leveled the encounter with a direct free kick. Dynamo then scored the decider in the 90th minute.
PAOK face CSKA Moscow up next, on Thursday, in yet another very difficult preparation match.
