Alexandros Tziolis collected the MVP award for the match against Atromitos and then attended media in his usual cool manner:

“We did well tonight and were 100% focused on the job at hand. Such results and performances justify our top spot in the league. We are back in action after the break and want to continue our fine run. As the season unfolds and we remain at the top, expectations and pressure will increase. Regarding the encounter against ACF Fiorentina on Thursday: “We will play to win, as we do with every European game at Toumba. Fiorentina are a very good side and we will do our best”.

Regarding the victory over Atromitos and the team’s performance: “We were good, but when we conceded and then were one man down, we retreated on the pitch. However we performed well even in numerical inferiority and held on to victory until the end”.

Regarding the “chemistry” of midfielders: “I don’t want to comment on this. These are the coach’s choices. Whoever gets to play, they give it all they have on the pitch. We are a good side, a close-knit group and that shows in our games”.
