PAOK FC wish to condemn in no uncertain terms any act of violence against football men and express their outrage over the appalling attack against Mr. Zografos, wishing him a speedy recovery.
For months now, we have been yelling and publicly denouncing all evils of Greek football, while also presenting our proposals for the sport’s progress in various domains. The only reaction we get from the Greek Federation is them sending us to sports courts and handing us bans…
Obviously our complaints and denunciations, all accompanied by strong indications, as well as the judicial inquests on criminal organizations in football have no effect or validity for submissive EPO in order to show their reflexes, as they did on Friday. Finally, can EPO tell us if denunciations and indications are enough for them to take a stand? They should let us know…
We have grown tired of stressing that EPO lack the necessary sobriety and poise, that the State is unable to control an obviously rotten football environment and that their accomplices opt for the “silence of the lambs”. Therefore we wish to inform fans that we have chosen a different path in order to achieve the coveted purge of our football. We wish to express our total trust in the judicial system and we are awaiting their conclusions on football, to clarify once and for all who should be the defendant and who the prosecutor.
