Players focus on Monday’s game

A few minutes after the big win over Dortmund in Signal Iduna Park, Igor Tudor signaled the team’s priorities from now on. PAOK are focusing 100% on the Super League must-win encounter against Levadiakos.

11.12.2015

Transition from European engagements to Greek reality is always tricky and the head coach of PAOK is focusing on getting his players mentally prepared. All of them know only too well that there is but one aim: to cover for lost ground in the Super League and that can only be achieved through victories in encounters such as the one of Monday.

Those who started the match in Dortmund, did recuperation work on Friday in the gym, under the guidance of Paolo Artico. The rest engaged in possession games and ball passing drills. Charis Charisis followed the full program but with less intensity, as he is on his way to return to action.

On the medical front, Miguel Vítor, Stelios Kitsiou, Jairo and Εyal Golasa continued their recovery programs.

Panagiotis Glykos will do an MRI to determined the extent of his injury and the time he will remain on the sidelines.

On Saturday 12 December, PAOK players will train at noon in the Nea Mesimvria training centre.
