Build-up and automations
PAOK players returned to work, with a morning training session in Nea Mesimvria, against the backdrop of the first official competitive game of the season, against Dinamo Kiev (23/7), in the context of the first match between the two teams for the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
The training session included a warm-up and some rondo to get the energy levels going. Then, some build-up automations were practised, while the main part of the session focused on tactics, with defensive and attacking organization exercises.
In terms of injury news, Aritz Elustodo participated in part of the regular program. Shola Shoretire followed an individual program, while Soualiho Meite and Kiril Despodov both underwent treatment.
Rahman Baba returned from the special leave he was granted due to his participation in the World Cup and was integrated normally with the rest of the squad.
The squad’s preparations continue on Tuesday (21.07) with a scheduled morning training session.
