Aleksandar Stanojević returned from Sweden, where he watched the league match of Östersunds FK, PAOK’s next rival in the UEFA Europa League. The Serbian coach got immediately to work, prepping his troops for the upcoming friendly encounters.

Monday’s evening session was entirely dedicated to football and tactics. The players engaged in full-pitch games, first without goalkeepers and then with them.

José Ángel Crespo complained of hip pains and retired from the session. He has also been ruled out of the friendlies against PAS Giannina and Lamia out of precaution. Diego Biseswar will probably not feature in the two games either, as he sustained a knock during training. Both players will undergo medical tests on Tuesday morning by PAOK doctor Manolis Papakostas and will train accordingly.

After training, the coaching staff announced their list for the friendly encounter against PAS Giannina, including four guys from the U20 team:

Rey, Leovac, Matos, Varela, Malezas, Shakhov, Cimirot, Campos, Mak, Henrique, Limnios, Prijović, Kozak, Mišković, Lyratzis, Muca.

Those who won’t play in the encounter against PAS Giannina (to be held behind closed doors without TV broadcast) will train on Wednesday morning at 09:30 in Nea Mesimvria.
