3×3 and running
This week’s training program came to an end on Friday (15.05) morning at Nea Mesimvria, concluding with a multi-faceted session that saw the players work on various aspects.
At the start of the session, the players worked through some fitness exercises which were focused on both speed and endurance. After that, the next part was devoted to passing with the coaching team giving the players some specific rules and tactics as they carried them out.
The last part was the first time that the players have gotten a taste of some football in the pure sense. The squad was split into groups of threes and played matches of 3×3 on a small pitch with mini goals.
Over the weekend the players will rest and come back in for training at Nea Mesimvria on Monday (18.05).
