Season 2026-27: Kick Off
The 2026-27 season officially began in Nea Mesimvria on Monday afternoon (22.06). The players and the new coaching staff, under the instructions of Alessio Lisci with a new challenge ahead, started work at the club’s training base.
Football was in the spotlight from the first day, with the program mainly including ball work, passing game exercises, possession games and friendly clashes.
The World Cup players Sanchez, Baba, as well as A. Zivkovic, Zafiris and Gugesashvili, are all on leave until 25/6, and so were absent from the first training session.
Kottas, Kosidis, Dunga, Avrampos, Apiatsionak and Sarris were integrated into the first team, as well as the … «oldies» Tsopouroglou, Bataoulas, Berdos and Balde . Thymianis, Kamara and Michailidis each followed an individual program, while Despodov and Meite underwent physiotherapy.
Training continues tomorrow, Tuesday, with the always-tough double training sessions for the players.
