Recovery and preparations for Apollon Smyrnis

The second leg cup tie against Larissa is now in the past. The competition is now put to one side as the PAOK squad turn their attention to the next Super League Interwetten match against Apollon Smyrnis at the Toumba on Sunday (07.02).

04.02.2021

Thursday’s (04.02) training session in Nea Mesimvria was based on two aspects. Initially the players who took part in the match at the Alkazar remained in the gym and swiming pool for some recovery and recuperation training.

The rest of the squad executed a high-intensity training program on the practice pitches based largely on passing and possession, through various games and drills. There was also some work on finishing.

Omar El Kaddouri got over his minor injury picked up in the match against Panetolikos and trained normally without any problems. Enea Mihaj continued his rehab training with work both out on the practice pitches and in the gym.

On Friday (05.02) PAOK will train at 11:00 at the club’s Nea Mesimvria Sports Center.
