On the status of the team:

«We have played a lot of games in recent weeks. We know we are not at our best, but we have to give it our all in the last three games of the year. We have confidence in the group of players that will be available. Our priority is to play well against Olympiacos, and we want to produce a reaction. It’s what we want, and I think we can get results.»

On whether his mind is on the cup final:

«We are still fighting for second place and we have to win. The cup final is in a week, and at this time we are concentrating only on the next game. We have to leave last Wednesday’s defeat behind us. We have games ahead before the final and these games can help us get results and lift our confidence levels in view of the final.»

On the squad lunch:

«The season is very long, we will have had about 60 games by the time it’s over. So we spend a lot of time during the year together, on trips and at hotels. The meal was already arranged before the game with Aris, regardless of the result. It was goof to have a nice chat and clear our heads. We have a strong group of players. We have had good and difficult times. It makes sense in such a big season to have a lot of ups and downs. But I think we have to leave behind what happened lately. Initiatives like this will help us both for the game with Olympiacos and for the future. What we have to do is fight to end the season in the best way possible.»

On the elements that will bring success in the last games:

«We have three games, one with Olympiacos and one with Panathinaikos before the cup final. We have to be united to achieve the best result for the team. The team this year has managed to write history, as it has done also in previous years. It is not the the first time we find ourselves with our backs to the wall, and not to be in good shape. We have shown in the past that we have a knack of finding a way out of these situations. However, at the moment it is not enough just to talk about it, we have to get the required reaction on the pitch and close the season satisfied.»

On the game against Olympiacos:

«I expect a difficult game. All the games we played this year were tight affairs and were decided by small details. We have to find the right final pass to score goals, but also be better in our own half of the field and improve the mistakes we made in the previous game. We know that the opposition has won the championship and will perhaps not be so motivated, but it is still a derby, and any such game is difficult.»
