Focus switches to Lamia

Just a few hours after the victory over Aris at the Toumba, PAOK’s players and coaching staff got down to work again straight away to begin their preparations for the away match on Saturday (07.01) against Lamia.

It is a situation which all clubs have to learn to live with for the next few weeks. The games are coming thick and fast, many of which are demanding fixtures, and there is not a minute to waste. Razvan Lucescu’s team knows how to handle such circumstances and they are aiming to build a positive streak of results in both the Super League and Greek Cup.

On Thursday (05.01) the work for the trip to Lamia started. The players who were in the starting XI against Aris followed a recovery and rehabilitation program on the training pitches. The rest of hte squad worked on tactics through exercises and games played within limited spaces.

The names on the injury list remain the same three. Marios Tsaousis and Omar El Kaddouri, who are doing treatments and a program in the gym and the swimming pool, but also Jasmin Kurtic, who continues a special rehab program.

On Friday (06.01) PAOK will be back in for training at 10:30 in Nea Mesimvria, before departing for Lamia in the afternoon.
