The home team took the lead in the third minute through Brazko, but the visitors reacted immediately. In the 13th minute, Mythou stole possession for Zivkovic to feed Giannis Konstantelias, and the attacking midfielder equalized with a precise, placed effort.

PAOK continued to control the pace of the game and in the 38th minute completed the turnaround. After a period of sustained pressure in and around the Dynamo penalty area, Zafeiris fired home from close range t make it 2-1.

Alessio Lisic’s side started the second half strongly, making the score 3-1 in the 51st minute. Konstantelias created the chance, and Santamaria, on his official debut in the black and white jersey, scored his first goal for PAOK.

Dynamo battled back and reduced the deficit in the 77th minute via Lonvik, and the hosts pressed in the last few minutes, hitting the post through Ponomarenko in the 83rd minute.

Still, in added time, PAOK came close to scoring a fourth goal, but Kamara’s shot also hit the post. The final 3-2 scoreline gives PAOK a slender lead as they seek to rubber-stamp qualification in next week’s return leg in Thessaloniki.
