Tactical work in Toumba
The weather forecast predicting high winds in Nea Mesimvria proved accurate and the players of the “Double-Headed Eagle” sought refuge in Toumba Stadium, in order to continue preparations for their home encounter against Apollon Smyrni for Super League Souroti.
Răzvan Lucescu worked on tactics ahead of the visit of Apollon Smyrni, with drills for his team’s collective behaviour in attacking and defensive situations. Thursday’s session concluded with a 10v10 targeted game.
José Alberto Cañas completed his recovery program and returned to full trainings, while Yevhen Shakhov also trained normally without complaining of pains. Panagiotis Deligiannidis suffers from a viral infection and it was deemed preferable not to work out.
PAOK players return to Nea Mesimvria on Friday at 11:00 for their training session.
