Entering the final stretch
Players and coaching staff returned to work after their Easter break and began prepping for the last encounters of the season, starting with the one against Panionios on Saturday (14 April, kick off at 19:30) for matchday 27 of Super League Souroti.
Răzvan Lucescu and his players are determined to keep proving on the pitch that they are superior to their rivals. They want to end the season on a winning note and perform even better.
On Monday evening, the football section of PAOK gathered at Nea Mesimvria and got to work. Their program consisted of decompression games focusing on physical condition.
Stelios Malezas retired from training out of precaution, due to a calf cramp. His condition will be evaluated in upcoming days, but the first prognosis is reassuring.
Dimitris Limnios trained apart from his team-mates and did physiotherapy in order to recover from a hip injury sustained during the encounter against Atromitos. Panagiotis Glykos also did individual training due to his back pains.
Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria.
