No time to relax
The encounter against OFI Crete is already in the past, along with Akpom’s brace and his assist and the two assists and one goal of Léo Jabá.
With many back-to-back fixtures ahead, PAOK have no luxury to relax or take their foot off the throttle. They face PAS Giannina on Wednesday, then play in Athens against AEK and host Olympiakos in Toumba Stadium… These matches might very well decide the outcome of the season.
PAOK players returned to the pitch on Monday to start their physical and mental preparation for their upcoming match against the Epirus outfit. Those who featured in the game against OFI Crete did recuperation and decompression work. The second group worked on their physical condition and ball passing.
José Alberto Cañas stayed in the gym due to calf pains and his condition will be evaluated in the next 24 hours. Pedro Henrique was the new face in the session, as he returned from his loan spell at FC Astana. He is at the disposal of Răzvan Lucescu and is following intensive training in order to catch up with his team-mates.
Tuesday’s training session is scheduled to start at 17:00 in Nea Mesimvria Sports Centre.
