Maurício suffered an injury that will keep him sidelined until the end of the season, as tests confirmed.
The unlucky Brazilian midfielder got injured during the first half of the encounter against Atromitos, as his foot got stuck on the pitch.
After the final whistle, he had an MRI that confirmed the initial prognosis of PAOK’s medical staff.
Maurício has suffered anterior cruciate ligament injury (and a possible tear of his lateral meniscus). He has already started physiotherapy and is discussing his options with the medical and technical staff of the club.
