Fernando Varela underwent surgery on the meniscus in his right knee on Saturday morning (12.10). The operation was performed by the head of PAOK’s medical team, Manolis Papakostas.
From Monday (14.10) the player will begin his recovery program. The amount of time he will be sidelined for will depend on the extent of the injury which will be fully-assessed in the coming days.
