Sverrir Ingi Ingason has ended Josip Misic’s two-month reign as player of the month by winning the award for the 11888 MVP for November after coming out on top in the vote which was held via paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App in cooperation with 11888 – For everything.
The Iceland defender was called upon to fill the void left by the injured Fernando Varela, and did an exemplary job. Hoe formed an exceptional partnership with Jose Crespo in the center of defence, always offered a cool head when needed, and was also dangerous in attack, especially at set-pieces.
Over the three games played in November, Ingason was composed and consistent, giving the team a sense of security at the back, and his efforts have been recognized by the public via the voting on both paokfc.gr and the PAOK FC Official App.
The Iceman, as he is nicknamed, garnered 66.09% of the vote to claim his first-ever monthly award as a PAOK player.
In second place was captain Adelino Vierinha, who was the key player in the derby draw against Panathinaikos, while the ever-improving Douglas Augusto was third.
