Attention switches to Asteras Tripolis

Having gotten over the obstacle of OFI in the Greek Cup Round of 16 with two comprehensive victories, PAOK is safely into the quarter-finals, and now all the focus is on the next match. That is this Sunday’s Super League Matchday 19 contest against Asteras Tripolis, which is the first of three fixtures that PAOK have up until January 27 in what is one of the busiest periods of the season.

16.01.2020

The players who took part in the match against OFI had a light recuperation training session which included work on the pitch, in the gym and in the swimming pool.

The rest of the group completed a general workout on the training pitches with the coaching staff. The program began with fitness conditioning exercises, continued with some possession and passing games, and was finished off with a friendly match with some specific tactics.

Jose Crespo took part in the full session, with the only absentee being Leo Jaba, who remained in the swimming pool and gym as part of his individual recovery program as he works on getting back to full fitness following his injury.

On Friday (17.01) PAOK will train at 15:30 at Nea Mesimvria.
