Football the priority

The players may not yet be allowed to train all together as one group yet, but the training sessions at Nea Mesimvria are slowly starting to resemble football instead of just fitness work.

Wednesday’s (13.05) training session was once again conducted in groups. The players rotated through the various exercises stations out on the training pitches. Before that, the program had started with some fitness drills.

The main part of the session was focused on individual technique and passing, with the coaching team also presenting some specific tactical pieces to focus on. The players also played rondo afterwards for the first time in a long time. The session was rounded off with some finishing drills.

The players will be back in again on Thursday (14.05) for their next training session.
